That is the heartbeat of GDEP (God’s Department) — the youth church of RCCG Strong Tower, designed for young people aged 11–17 years old.

GDEP is more than a youth ministry — it is a safe, Spirit-filled, and purpose-driven environment where your child will:
Biblical Encouragement for Parents
The Bible gives us this clear instruction:
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6
Your child’s spiritual foundation is best laid now — not later. This age (11–17) is a critical season when identity is shaped, beliefs are formed, and direction for life is determined.
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

The Bamboo Tree Principle
Did you know the Chinese bamboo tree takes five years of underground growth before it breaks through the soil? During that time, it appears as though nothing is happening, but roots are growing deep. When it finally sprouts, it can grow up to 90 feet in just five weeks!
In the same way, allowing your child to grow spiritually through GDEP may not produce instant results, but what’s taking place under the surface is powerful — they’re developing faith, character, and identity that will launch them upward in God’s time.
